Letter on career choice

Question: Write a letter in about 100 words, to your younger brother about the choice of a career.

5914Rajinder Nagar,

New Delhi,

4th August 20…….

My dear Diler Singh,

I have just received your letter. You have asked my advice regarding the choice of a career. Keeping in view your taste, I suggest that you should join the army.

Since your early childhood you have been fond of brave deeds. I remember the day when you saved a drowning child at the risk of your own life. Moreover, you want to live an adventurous life. You can satisfy this urge if you join the army. Apart from that, you will get good pay.

I have talked to dear father. He, too, has approved of my proposal.

Yours affectionately.

Letter For Study Hard

Question: You are Ankur Sharma of 5. Roshani Colony, New Delhi. Your younger brother Namit is staying in a hostel at Modern School, Rohtak. You are not happy with his report from school. Write a letter to him advising him to study hard and avoid bad company.

Roshani Colony,

New Delhi,

19th March, 20………..

My dear Namit,

I have just received your progress report from your school. I am shocked to see that you have miserably failed in English and Maths. Your attendance is below 70%.

It seems that you are neglecting your studies. You have definitely fallen in a bad company. If this state of affairs continues, you will fail in your final examination. So, you should mend your ways before it is too late. It is high time that you should avoid bad company and pay attention towards your studies. Always remember that hard work is the key to success.

I hope you will act upon my advice and start working from today. With best wishes.

Yours lovingly,

Ankur Sharma
